In recent years, the Ningbo Boyang Group has been recognized for its "grasping both ends" business model—focusing on R&D and design on one side, and brand marketing on the other. The group’s chairman, Ju Juchuan, recently announced the establishment of a new industrial leadership team. This group has a single mission: to develop a large-scale industrial city covering 500 mu in the Suzhou Development Zone, Anhui Province. The project is expected to boost Boyang’s production capacity by more than ten times within three years.
Boyang Industrial City is now moving forward. The company has already secured land and plans to invest over 500 million yuan in constructing the first of its kind industrial park. According to the preliminary plan, the site will be called "Suzhou Bo Yang Textile Industrial Park." It will consist of three main areas: textile, apparel, and home textiles, housing several of the group’s manufacturing subsidiaries.
This marks a significant shift for the company, which has long been known for its "light asset" strategy. Most of its products are outsourced through non-general-process production. But with this new initiative, Boyang is taking a step toward vertical integration and long-term industrial expansion.
The move reflects a bold new direction for the company as it seeks to build a stronger foundation for future growth. Whether this strategy will pay off remains to be seen, but it's clear that Boyang is no longer just a brand—it's becoming a major player in the textile and apparel industry.
