In a statement, the Cacharel brand says 32-year-old Liu Ling is from Harbin, northeast China, and Sun Dawei from Dalian, both of whom work together on the brand's women's, men's , children's and accessories designs.
The two designers studied in China until they arrived in Paris until they learned both of them at the prestigious Chambre Syndicale and in 2009 co-founded Belle Ninon, their own brand.
Liu Ling's career started with Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent, and Sun Dawei's workmanship was exercised by brands such as Lolita Lempicka, Balenciaga and John Galliano.
